WHAT ARE HEMORRHOIDS, KNOW THE TYPES OF HEMORRHOIDS
Hemorrhoids or piles (hemorrhoids) are swelling of the blood vessels in the anus and the end of the large intestine (rectum). This is caused by high pressure in the blood vessels of the rectum and anus. This condition is often caused by the habit of pushing too hard when defecating, which is generally due to constipation.
Hemorrhoids are divided into two types, namely:
- internal hemorrhoids (internal hemorrhoids)
Internal hemorrhoids are located inside the rectum. You can't see or feel it, and it rarely causes discomfort.
It's just that when straining or irritation occurs during defecation, hemorrhoids can cause the following symptoms:
Painless bleeding during bowel movements. You may see a little blood on the toilet paper or in the toilet. This condition can cause pain and irritation.
- external hemorrhoids (external hemorrhoids)
This type appears under the skin around the anus. Signs and symptoms include:
Itching or irritation in the anal area.
Feeling sore or uncomfortable.
Swelling around the anus.
