Grand Opening of Hermina Nusantara Hospital, Hermina Group's 50th Member
Nusantara Capital City, October 11th, 2024 - Starting from PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk's commitment to build and develop hospital in the Nusantara Capital City region, Hermina Nusantara Hospital has officially launched, the Hermina's 50th member hospital located in Sepaku Sub-District, North Penajam Paser, East Kalimantan, Indonesia.
The inauguration of the hospital was marked by the Grand Opening of Hermina Nusantara Hospital on Friday, October 11th, 2024 which began with a Hospital Tour with President Ir. H. Joko Widodo. The inauguration of the opening of Hermina Nusantara Hospital was marked by the pressing of the siren button by Mr. President Ir. H. Joko Widodo who was accompanied by dr. Hasmoro as President Director of PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk and the signing of the inscription as a symbol of the start of the mission of Hermina Nusantara Hospital to provide fast and accurate services that prioritize Patient Safety supported by the digitalization of the Hospital Electronic Medical Record.
This hospital has a master plan with modern and elegant design, with eight floors covering 28,210 m² (master plan) which stands on an area of 20,700 m². Starting construction in early 2024, currently Hermina Nusantara Hospital has 5 floors which will be continued gradually with an 8 floors Master Plan ready to receive outpatients, inpatients, and Emergency Room (ER).
“I really appreciate the speed of construction of Hermina Nusantara Hospital which was practically built in only approximately 10 months and can now operate to receive patients. This can provide trust and confidence for State Civil Apparatus (ASN) who will soon move to IKN,” said Mr. President Ir. H. Joko Widodo.
“Currently, we have only opened 50 beds and after the Grand Opening we will continue the construction until the beginning of 2025 when we will open 100 beds. Hermina Nusantara Hospital was established as an expression of gratitude to God and an expression of gratitude to the Government because in the last 10 years from the end of 2014 to the end of 2024 the number of Hermina hospitals has grown from 21 hospitals to 51 hospitals, resulting in an average of 3 hospitals in 1 year. The number of beds increased from 1,600 beds to 7,700 beds or grew by 6,100 beds,” explained dr. Hasmoro, President Director of PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk.
dr. Hasmoro also explained that Hermina Nusantara Hospital is supported by Hermina Balikpapan Hospital and Hermina Samarinda Hospital and collaborates with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia to open gradually and has received support from insurance companies in Indonesia.
Looking back, after going through the process of signing the agreement and the issuance of the Decree of the Deputy for Planning and Land Affairs of the Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) on the Determination of Land Allocation for PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk in the Nusantara Capital City in September 2023, Hermina has conducted groundbreaking on November 1st, 2023, followed by building the foundation at the first point on December 22nd, 2023 and soft opening event on August 17th, 2024.
“Since the beginning we have been committed to support the Nusantara Capital City because we see huge potential for its future, along with the growth of the Nusantara Capital City,” continued dr. Hasmoro. “Therefore, Hermina Nusantara Hospital in the future is targeted to be an ecogreen and smart hospital, with national and international accreditation, to reach a wider range of our executive and non executive patients.” he added.
In September, Hermina also held the grand opening of Hermina Madiun Hospital as its 49th hospital. Hermina Hospital expressed its gratitude for the tremendous support from the government and all parties who have been involved from the market survey commitment. It is expected that the construction of Hermina Nusantara Hospital can be accepted and beneficial for the community in the surrounding area.
