Cancer is one of the highest health problems in Indonesia. Based on Riskesdas data, the prevalence of tumors/cancer in Indonesia showed an increase from 1.4 per 1000 population in 2013 to 1.79 per 1000 population in 2018. Meanwhile, data from the Global Burden of Cancer Study (Globocan) from the World Health Organization (WHO) noted , total cancer cases in Indonesia in 2020 reached 396,914 cases and total deaths were 234,511 cases. Lung cancer followed in third place with 34,783 cases (8.8% of total cases), then liver cancer with 21,392 cases (5.4% of total cases), and nasopharyngeal cancer (the area at the top of the back of the throat) a total of 19,943 cases (5% of the total cases). The earlier the detection of cancer, the greater the chance of cure.
