Soft Opening of Hermina Nusantara Hospital

Ibu Kota Nusantara, August 17, 2024 – On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk officially held the soft opening of its 50th hospital, Hermina Nusantara Hospital, located in Sepaku District, Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan, Indonesia.

The hospital boasts a modern and elegant design, featuring an eight-story buildingwithatotal area of 28,000 m² (master plan) on a 20,718 m² plot of land. Construction began in early 2024, and as of now, three floors of Hermina Nusantara Hospital are ready to serve outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department (ER) patients.

"In addition to providing general healthcare services, we focus of services providedis basicservices consisting of emergency room, intensive care unit and traumatology as basic excellence, as well as specialist and subspecialty superior service targets consisting of Maternal and Child Health (KIA) and oncology to support the government in offering exceptional healthcare programs," explained dr. Hasmoro, President Director of PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk.

dr. Hasmoro also mentioned that Hermina Nusantara Hospital is supported by HerminaBalikpapan Hospital and Hermina Samarinda Hospital also has collaborated withtheIndonesian Ministry of Health for a phased opening and has received support from various insurance companies in Indonesia.

Reflecting on the past, after the signing of the agreement and the issuance of the Deputy for Planning and Land Affairs of the Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) Decisionon the Allocation of Land for PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk in the Nusantara Capital in September 2023, Hermina held a groundbreaking ceremony on November 1, 2023, followed by the first foundation laying on December 22, 2023.

"Therefore, Hermina Nusantara Hospital is targeted to become an eco-friendly and smart hospital, with both national and international accreditation, to serve a wider range of both executive and non-executive patients." he added.

In July, Hermina also held a soft opening of Hermina Madiun Hospital as the 49th. HerminaHospital expressed its gratitude for the outstanding support from the government and all parties involved, from the commitment of the market sounding. It is hoped that the construction of the Hermina Nusantara Hospital will be beneficial to the community in the surrounding area.
